How the work came to be

The painting is based on a morning train ride to Zlín, when low mist clung to the fields. I drew the charcoal straight into wet acrylic, without sketches – the two vertical strokes are power line poles, the only thing left of the landscape.

The work found its owner at the Paper and Thread exhibition in Liberec.
